It's Christmas time! Wow 6 months since I've blogged - shame on me.

Big news! I'm going to be a grandmother! Next summer the little bean will arrive - can't wait little bean to meet you. The little bean has made the momma sick for the first three months. Momma is starting to feel a bit better now. We are all anxious to find out what flavor bean you are and maybe next week that will be revealed to us.

Christmas decorations are up and shining brightly. Packages are wrapped and waiting. Menu is being formulated and food shopping will commence soon.

Garden

T's garden is growing. We ate corn tonight - it didn't grow very big - he thinks he pollinated it too early but it was tender and yummy just the same.

We have lots of cukes coming and tomatoes and looks like the potatoes are doing well.
He has a new crop of corn in now - different variety - looks very vigorous and healthy.

CATCHING UP - AGAIN

I'm failing at being a daily blogger - I guess I have to lower my expectations and just be happy to be able to blog whenever I can.

SAD NEWS:
My Aunt Dorothy died last week. She was my favorite - I loved her - a lot! I'm going to miss her and it makes me very sad when I think she's not here anymore. She was very, very good to me and I loved her and was so grateful to have had her in my life. She would have turned 90 next Valentine's Day - I wish she could have hit that milestone. She's in heaven now with my mom and my dad and with Uncle Paul and all the other family that have gone before her. She's happy and in a really, really good place.
