Finished my first quilt today. Learned a lot while doing it - I'd be embarrassed to have an experienced quilter look at it, but I'm still sorta proud that I finished it.
It is going to Stella the cat. We r hoping she'll leave her human momma and daddy's quilts alone and adopt this one for herself!
Reconnected with a long lost cousin on fb today! What a thrill. As I get older it's important to me to stay connected to the relatives I have - so woo hoo for me!
The mosiac tile project has finally set up enough, so tomorrow I'm planning on grouting. Standby for further! Never done this before :-)

I think your first quilt looks great. I love the green and pink fabrics together. I often find myself pointing out the problems in my quilts to others. It is a habit I am trying to rid myself of. Most people would never notice the imperfections, and those who would (and actually comment on them) aren't people I actually associate with. My mantra is "finished is better than perfect". I hope you post a new project soon. Good luck!
